Do I need Adobe Photoshop installed?▼
No. PSD files are parsed and rendered entirely in your browser using the ag-psd JavaScript library. Photoshop is not required.
Are layers flattened in the output?▼
Yes. All visible layers are composited together into a single flat PNG image. Hidden layers are not included.
Is transparency preserved in the PNG output?▼
Yes. If the PSD has a transparent background, the PNG preserves transparency (alpha channel).
What PSD versions are supported?▼
PSD files from Photoshop CS1 through CC (2023) are supported. PSB (Large Document Format) is not currently supported.
Is the conversion done in the browser?▼
Yes. All PSD parsing and PNG export happens locally. Your PSD file is never uploaded to any server.
