Questions people actually ask
Do I have to upload anything?
No. Saving to the cloud is opt-in, file by file. If you never use it, your files are still processed entirely in your browser and never reach our servers.
Do free files get deleted after a while?
No. Anything you save on the free plan stays until you delete it. The only limit is space — once you have filled 500 MB, you either clear something out or move up a plan.
Why do I have to confirm my email?
Free storage is permanent, so we confirm each address once to stop the free tier being farmed by automated signups. You can use every tool immediately — only cloud saving waits for the link. Signing in with Google skips this entirely.
What if I cancel?
You keep 500 MB permanently — and unlike a never-subscribed free account, those files have no 10-day expiry. Anything above 500 MB stays fully downloadable for 30 days so you can export it, after which the oldest files are removed until you are back under the limit.
Can I change plans later?
Any time. Upgrades and downgrades are handled in the billing portal and prorated by Stripe, so you only pay the difference.
