Can I see the GPS location on a map?▼
Yes. If GPS coordinates are present in the EXIF data, a map link is provided to view the location.
What image formats contain EXIF data?▼
JPG/JPEG and TIFF files typically contain EXIF data. PNG files can store metadata but rarely have EXIF. WebP has limited EXIF support.
Why might some photos have no EXIF data?▼
Photos may have EXIF stripped by social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter all remove EXIF on upload), by image editing software, or by using the EXIF remover tool.
